Vocals - Belle Hendrik was a pioneer of the soul/funk revival scene in Sydney in the 90's forming The Honeybees and Soul Kitchen, both big bands reproducing the sounds of soul and funk vocal harmony groups. Her own music has taken her around the Globe playing bass and singing with her band The Rogue Gene who were finalists in the 2014 Chain Awards, the Australian blues music awards, for new talent of the year and releasing two CD’s along the way. Her passion for retro soul, funk, blues and swing music makes her a perfect fit for the Daddies. Her voice has been described as “Chili Chocolate Caramel with Bite!” From performing Big Band Swing Music at the infamous 100 Club in London to singing Jazz in Japanese nightclubs or laying down the blues at festivals and pubs and singing it up with dance band SOUL’D , her versatility is endless and her performances are unforgettable.
