From Swing,to R&B, Jive to Rock n Roll they play it so well.
Good arrangements based mainly on the American band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy included King Of Swing, Jumpin Jack, Please Baby, Mr Pinstripe Suit, You and Me and The Bottle Makes Three, to the more well known standards like Minnie The Moocher and Sway. They even through in Crazy Little thing Called Love, finishing the show with The House is Rockin, which it certainly did.
Vocalist Andrew Cox is the ideal front man for the band and is able to really sell what he is singing. Bass guitarist Michel Voets contributed some Rock n Roll vocals which were well received. Back -up vocals by the rest of the band and excellent playing created a lot of the fun that signified the performance.
The WellSwung Daddies are tight and well rehearsed, which provided a great opportunity for dancing and the dance floor was well used by a good turnout of members and guests. Judging by the audience response to the band, the night was very enjoyable for all.
